Where will the premium seats be located?
Premium seats will be on the west side of the stadium, where the press box is currently located.

How will the various types of premium seats be allocated?
The selection process for the various types of premium seats will be determined by rank within Deacon Club giving levels.

How will the location of premium seats be determined?
The location of a contributor’s premium seats will be determined by the contributor’s Deacon Club cumulative rank.

Is my total payment tax-deductible?
As provided by IRS rules, a donation qualifying the contributor to purchase athletic event tickets is 80% tax-deductible. The cost of goods, services, and amenities is not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. The annual total payment for premium seat privileges consists of two parts:

1. Donation – An 80% tax-deductible charitable gift benefiting the University through the Deacon Club and qualifying the donor for the purchase of tickets in a particular premium seat area, and

2. License Usage Fee – A payment for goods and services provided by the University such as usage fee, parking, and other amenities. The amount paid for tickets is not a charitable contribution, but may qualify as a business deduction. The Deacon Club will issue information concerning deductibility, although you should consult your own tax advisor.

What does escalation mean?
Escalation is the annual percentage increase in the donation and license usage fee based on the term of your agreement. For example, if you sign a 3-year agreement at 4% escalation for an Upper Level Suite, you will pay a total of $29,750 the first year; a total of $30,940 (1.04 x $29,750) the second year; and a total of $32,177.60 (1.04 x $30,940) the final year. Term options are available for 3, 5, 7, and 10 years.

Will I be able to renew my license at the end of the term?
Yes.You will have the opportunity to renew your license for a specific period of time.

If I accept the opportunity to obtain premium seats, will there be additional agreements to complete?
Yes. Those who commit will need to sign an additional agreement outlining the rules and conditions applicable to Box Suites, Premium Club Tables, or Club Seats. Completing the commitment form does not guarantee the ability to obtain premium seats.

How will my Deacon Club points be affected by my premium seat license agreement?
Deacon Club members will receive 1 point for each $100 spent for the donation amount (not including ticket and license usage fees).

When will the premium seats be available?
If there is significant demand and construction moves forward, premium seats will be available for the 2008 football season.

Can I get Club Seats or Premium Club Tables with a group of friends?
Yes. The group’s priority rank will be determined by taking the average of the group members’ Deacon Club cumulative ranks.

Can I share Box Suites with other people?
Yes. Up to four people can share a suite, but each person must sign an individual license agreement.

Is there a limit to the number of Club Seats I can obtain?
Yes. Limits are based on your annual Deacon Club giving level. Please call the Deacon Club for more information.
